Voices of dead poets, WiFi and GSM networks, radio messages transmitted by the radio enthusiasts worldwide and radio communication of various services, commercial and public broadcasting, alfa/beta radiation and electromagnetic field measurements, infrasound and fluctuations in the electrical grid of the city – as sound source for sound and poetry performance by Orbita collective i'm a member of.

Motopoiesis

electromechanical sound & poetry performance

In the Orbita’s performance “Motopoiesis” voices of the four poets (Semyon Khanin, Arturs Punte, Sergej Timofejev, Vladimir Svetlov) trigger electronic and mechanical noise-making mechanisms and further on sounds get processed through various audio effects. Thus the source of the sound is the tempo of the poetry and voice intonation.
